The founder of a controversial website in Thunder Bay has been found dead in a south end Inn.
A family member confirms Pino Demasi died suddenly and was found unresponsive in a room at the Kingsway Inn Sunday night.
Demasi created a website which he claimed was news, developing a following among many inside and outside the city for the often unconventional ways he posted stories on crime and other events in the city and region.
He was also the subject of several legal actions because of the way many felt he unfairly targeted many people.
Pino Demasi was 36 years old.
Police have not revealed the cause of death, or given any further information.
