Transit Union Has COVID Concerns

Thunder Bay city transit is considered an essential service, but it appears some are using it for non-essential reasons.

In a news release, union head Ken Koza states “Non-essential users are crowding Thunder Bay buses and it needs to stop.”

He further says this is happening at a time when bus drivers are risking their health and safety, and if you have virus symptoms not to ride the bus.

The news release asks for everyone again to practice proper social distancing and do their part during this difficult time.
