Apartment Building Smoke Caused By Electrical Problem

It appears an electrical problem may be at the root of smoke coming from an apartment building in the north end.

Thunder Bay Fire Platoon Chief John Russak tells us they were called to the Hillcrest Towers apartments near Red River Road and High Street at around 8:30 Thursday morning, for what he describes as ‘an electrical thing.’

They found smoke in the building which they said soon disappeared.

There is no damage estimate or known injuries.
