Local Men Jailed On Drug Charges

Three Thunder Bay men are facing numerous drug charges following a joint investigation between Kenora OPP and Thunder Bay’s guns and gangs task force.

Police tell us the arrests, made February 25th in Thunder Bay, were the result of a month long investigation called Project Tenbury, targeting those trafficking cocaine in Thunder Bay.

Police say they found quantities of cocaine, crack cocaine, crystal meth, as well as a wide variety of pills.

The street value of the drugs is estimated at $122,775.

The men, ages 25 to 49, remain in jail, with court appearances for Thursday and Friday.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
