Contract talks between the Elementary Teachers Federation of Ontario and the province are expected to resume today.
The union says it was the mediator in the negotiations who reached out to both parties to get together again. They haven’t talked since the middle of December.
Since then, ETFO has initiated rotating strikes that are scheduled to be in Thunder Bay and Rainy River district schools next Wednesday with a province-wide walkout planned for next Thursday.
The Ontario English Catholic Teachers’ Association adds it’ll be having a one day strike on Tuesday, including those in Thunder Bay.
