Truck By-Law Likely Back In March

It could still be some weeks before city council deals with the designated truck route by-law.

City Clerk Krista Power tells us there some conflict of interest and conduct matters which were brought up during previous council sessions on the truck route and the Junot Avenue transition home.

She is looking to get some direction from council on moving the matter until March “in order to receive the information from the integrity commissioner” as council has requested.

Power says the integrity commissioner was to give a legal opinion on issues involving councillors Albert Aiello, Brian McKinnon, and Brian Hamilton.
