Habitat Helped By Everlast Windows & Doors

A Toronto company with a Thunder Bay office has made a significant donation to Habitat for Humanity’s latest build.

CEO Lana Vukelic tells us their generosity takes the pressure off the charity. “We would have to fundraise to get that money for the windows, and because we didn’t have to do that we can put those monies to other areas where we are having difficulties finding donors.”

Everlast Windows and Doors donated windows and doors, laptops for children in both Habitat families and $75,000.

Meanwhile, Vukelic is a former Thunder Bay resident who recently moved home to the city for this position and to be with her mother.

She tells us she was interested in this position because she has always held senior positions in corporate business. She looks forward to bringing her skills and experience to a wonderful not-for-profit like Habitat.
