Marcus Powlowski is hoping he can be a part of helping the government achieve its objectives.
The Thunder Bay-Rainy River Liberal MP has his first Speech from the Throne under his belt and is anxious to contribute.
The newly-elected MP points to Indigenous reconciliation, opioid addiction and controlling guns and gangs as several issues in the speech which affect his riding and interest him.
“I am certainly happy to take on any role the government wishes to assign me with respect to these issues,” says Powlowski.
He adds because of his background as a health care provider he has reached out to Health Minister Patty Hajdu to offer assistance.
