Lawyers in the Brayden Bushby case are going to be meeting on December 17th to discuss the second-degree murder trial that is set for January 2020.
The lawyers need to discuss scheduling and other legal matters, however, the trial is still set for three-weeks in the new year.
The 20-year-old is accused of second-degree murder in relation to the death of Barbara Kentner.
Bushby’s lawyers had wanted their client’s charge to be lowered to aggravated assault or manslaughter.
Bushby initially was charged with aggravated assault after an alleged incident in January 2017 that involved a trailer hitch thrown out of a moving vehicle at the now deceased Barbara Kentner.
