Sticky Situation At Red River Gas Station

A Red River Road gas station has had trouble keeping their provincially mandated carbon tax stickers on their pumps.

Melissa Burridge is the Manager of a local Shell and tells us she was given 20 stickers last month and now only has a few left.

“I have to put more stickers back up because apparently, the stickers aren’t sticking that well, and then I look outside, and I see a gentleman peeling stickers off.”

The gas station manager adds she wants to get a replacement carbon tax label, but the provincial government’s website for the stickers is out of stock.

Burridge would like to reach out to the provincial government to tell them about the incident “so this doesn’t happen again, cause I’m not sure if other stations are having trouble with this as well.”
