Volunteer firefighters from across the Northwest are taking in two days of training during their convention in Thunder Bay this week known as FireCon.
Emergency North Training President, Warren Brinkman, tells us crews will be getting hands-on experience.
The FireCon official says since this event was first held over 20 years ago, they’ve been able to provide affordable training cutting out expensive trips to southern Ontario.
The convention takes place today and tomorrow at the Thunder Bay Training Centre, Gary’s Towing and the Victoria Inn.
