The Ministry of Labour is investigating a fatality at a construction site in Marathon this afternoon.
Officials tell us it was reported, but not confirmed, that a worker was installing a temporary steel bridge when the bridge shifted and pinned the worker.
An inspector has been assigned and is on route to the scene of the fatality.
