This week’s big cabinet shuffle by Premier Doug Ford is taking a lot of people by surprise.
One of them is Thunder Bay NDP-MPP Judith Monteith-Farrell who is wondering why so many top level cabinet ministers were moved.
She says either the cabinet ministers “were following his direction or they were going their own way and he has no control over his government,” but Monteith-Farrell doubts the latter is the case.
Thunder Bay Liberal MPP Michael Gravelle calls the shuffle shocking, especially the removal of Vic Fedeli from finance.
He believes the number of senior ministers who were demoted “is a clear reflection of Premier Ford actually acknowledging that there are real problems with the way people are perceiving his government.”
