Busy 2018 For Human Rights Commission

A record number of inquires to the Canadian Human Rights Commission in 2018.

The Commission says over 25,000 people contacted them last year, which led to over 1,100 complaints being accepted for further review.

Many of the complaints were lodged through the agency’s new online platform.

Disability concerns accounted for over half of all complaints accepted by the Commission.
