A local extermination company was the big winner of the Pitch It competition sponsored by the Northwest Innovation Center in Kenora.
Corey Jones works out of the Kenora office and says they would like to continue to work with the winners of the competition.
“There’s no formal requirement of the event for anyone to carry their idea forward, but a thousand dollars towards moving your idea forward can make a big difference to someone. We hope we can help the winner and other people who pitched ideas work on their business projects.”
Green and Gone Pest Solutions won at thousand dollars for developing an action plan for remote communities to handle problems with insects and other invasive animals.
