Organizers with the Thunder Bay Special Olympics Canada Winter Games are expecting anywhere from 600 to 700 volunteers for the February 2020 event.
Chair Barry Streib tells us it’s vital to the success of such a large event.
“I just love our volunteers, they are amazing people and they give of their time to support something as important as Special Olympics.”
The theme for the future event is Pure Heart.
Goldcorp has also come on board as the Games presenting Sponsor.
