Dilico Anishnabek Family Care is in its 10th year of their Christmas Wish Bag campaign.
Spokesperson Carmela Hardy says they give gifts to kids who are in their care from newborns to teens.
They want to give kids in care gifts that will help them throughout the year.
“One of the things we encourage is essentials. Toothbrushes, art supplies, socks, warm mitts, hats, clothing. Things like that would be really, really helpful.”
To take part, you can pick up a bag from Dilico and fill it with gifts appropriate for the child described on its tag.
Dilico is looking to provide gifts to 800 children this year.
Hardy tells us if you are busy, that’s alright because they accept cash donations.
