Guilty Plea In 2015 Drug Case

A Thunder Bay man has plead guilty on a drug trafficking charge dating back to a drug bust in 2015.

Allain Gallant Junior will be sentenced on February 4th and saw other charges facing him withdrawn.

His co-accused Fortunato Colistro, Keith Ritchie and Jason Stokaluk will have a new trial date set since jury selection was to take place today but was adjourned.

The three will be back in court September 17th.

The police investigation of this case involved the alleged importation of cannabis resin from the United States in Canada in 2009.
