The provincial police are investigating a death on Highway 11.
Emergency Services were sent to the section of highway running through Nigigoonsiminikaaning First Nation just east of Highway 502 around 2:30 p.m. on Tuesday in response to a report of a single-vehicle collision.
The driver of the vehicle a 20-year-old from Thunder Bay was pronounced dead at the scene.
The vehicle had no other occupants.
Highway 11 was closed for roughly five hours but it has since reopened.
The provincial police are investigating the situation and asking anyone with information to contact them at 1-888-310-1122 or through Crime Stoppers.
