2 New COVID-19 Cases In Kenora

The Northwestern Health Unit has confirmed two positive cases of COVID-19 in Kenora.

That’s in addition to the case already being looked at in Wabaseemoong.

In his daily briefing, Dr Sean Moore from Lake of the Woods District Hospital says “To all of those people living in Wabaseemoong and Kenora, we are going to be working hard to increase testing, provide treatment and keeping communication open to everyone.”

The Health Unit adds they are working with local and federal agencies to follow up with these cases and anyone they had contact with.

If you have not been notified, then it means you are not at risk of acquiring COVID-19 from these cases.
