13 New Cases, But Active Drops Again

The encouraging news for the Thunder Bay District’s effort to wipe out COVID-19 continues.

The health unit says the active case count is down to 91, on Saturday it was 98.

There are 13 new cases, and that is from Sunday and Monday, as officials are now reporting those two days together. There are also three new cases with variant concern.

The unit adds 20 people have had their cases resolved.

1 Pending
9 Thunder Bay and Surrounding Areas
3 First Nation communities
1 District communities

Provincially, for Monday, there are 4,401 new cases, and 15 related deaths.
