Thunder Bay’s police have arrested a suspect accused of robbing the same business twice.
Officers initially responded to a business on Simpson Street on May 15 after receiving a report of a robbery.
A man with his face covered entered the building holding a knife and demanded money.
The suspect fled before police arrived.
On May 17, police were called to the same location for another robbery.
A man with a similar appearance to the suspect from the first robbery entered the business and demanded money.
Again, the suspect fled before officers arrived.
Further investigation led to a suspect being identified.
They were located and arrested on Tuesday.
As a result, a 43-year-old is facing three charges, including:
- Robbery (two counts)
- Disguise with intent
The accused remains in custody with a future court date.
