The Thunder Bay District Health Unit continues to climb in COVID-19 cases.
Officials indicate there are 12 new cases of the novel coronavirus, with eleven of them within Thunder Bay and surrounding areas.
Seven of the new cases were obtained through close contact while one has no known exposure.
The local health unit also reports two more cases at both the district jail and correctional centre.
With 15 cases resolved the current active case count stands at 139.
