The 11th threat to Hammarskjold High School has caused school board officials to close today and forced officials to cancel tonight’s planned parent meeting.
It was called in an effort to give parents a platform to ask questions and receive feedback.
The Ministry of Education tells our newsroom student safety is the top priority for the government.
They note the Lakehead District School Board has kept ministry staff apprised of this situation and the ministry will continue to monitor.
Since this matter is currently under police investigation, they are not able to comment further.
