Two More COVID Cases Reported

There are now four active COVID-19 cases in the Thunder Bay district.

The health unit reports two new cases in a couple who contracted the virus while travelling.

One is a woman in her 50s the other a man in his 60s. They are both self-isolating.

They are the 96th and 97th coronavirus cases in the city since the health unit began keeping track in March.

One person has died.

  • Originally from southern Ontario, Jason found his way here and fell in love with the community and music scene of Thunder Bay over twenty years ago. In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
