UPDATE: Tornado Warning Cancelled For Kakabeka Falls

Kakabeka Falls has escaped a tornado warning after thunderstorms passed through the area over the weekend.

Environment Canada issued the warning Sunday afternoon, saying the storms could produce a tornado.

Thunder Bay was put under a rainfall warning and a severe thunderstorm watch, both of which are now cancelled.

In the city, Thunder Bay Police are no longer blocking off Isabel Street in the Intercity area and a section of Water Street between John Street and Fort William Road. They closed those streets because of flooding due to the heavy rain.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
