The Thunder Bay Food Bank is hosting a food drive at the Real Canadian Superstore.
‘Stuff a Bus’ will help the food bank restock their shelves to better serve the community. Food or cash donations are welcome.
Canned items, pasta, cereal and other non-perishable foods are preferred.
The demand for food in Thunder Bay continues to increase. In 2023, the Thunder Bay Food Bank saw a 35% increase in need over the previous year. They are now serving an average of 135 households each time they are open.
The event will take place this Saturday at 600 Harbour Expressway from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
