Big Snake Found In Fort Frances

An unusual call for OPP in Fort Frances.

Police were called on the weekend about a large snake.

It was discovered by a homeowner in the town’s west end.

It is believed to be a boa constrictor, measuring about seven feet long.

OPP said they were looking for an owner, but social media indicates that the person has been found.

A similar snake was found lying dead along the railway tracks across the border in Rainer, Minnesota.

It’s not certain if the two incidents are connected.
