Save the day….

There’s a new feel‑good trend taking over TikTok, and for once, it’s not a dance — it’s something that actually helps people slow down. It’s called “Saving the Day.” The idea comes from creator Trina Merz, and it’s gone viral with millions of views because it’s so simple: after a long, stressful day, do one small thing that makes the day feel like it belonged to you again.

It doesn’t have to be big — call your mom, make a favourite meal, take a walk, sip a coffee or a glass of wine, read a few pages, watch a show. Just something that reminds you that life isn’t only work and responsibilities.

Therapists are even jumping in, saying this tiny act of reclaiming a moment has real mental‑health benefits. It gives your brain a reset, a sense of control, and a little spark of joy.

So today, take a minute for yourself… pause the chaos… and save the day!
