TELL ME SOMETHING GOOD
We’ve talked often on this feature about the Canadian hero – TERRY FOX. Terry is once again in the spotlight – for the documentary film called “Run Terry Run”.

The 1 hour 50 minute documentary had its premiere last November at Roy Thomson Hall in Toronto. It debuted in theatres over the weekend.
Director Sean Menard, brings us a behind-the-scenes view of Terry’s 1980 “Marathon Of Hope”, through previously unseen footage taken 46 years ago. All the movie footage was passed along toThe Terry Fox Foundation, but just sat there in storage, and was actually believed to have been lost. It was found about 5 years ago. The reviews have been nothing short of fantastic.

Zachary Lee of Roger Ebert.com gave the film 3 out of 4 stars. Movie critic Rachel West said, “almost 45 years later, Fox’s story remains extraordinary, not because the legend has grown larger, but because the person at its centre was so profoundly human. By allowing Fox to tell his own story, the director reminds us why his legacy has endured – and why it STILL matters”.
