Five Northwestern Ontario CN Rail crossings will see safety improvements.
It comes after the federal government announced over $700,000 for crossings in Emo, Kakabeka Falls, Rosslyn, Shebandowan and Kawene.
Improvements could include new flashing lights, bells and gates, new technology, research and closures of crossings that present safety concerns.
