Police seeking assistance locating mischief suspect

The Thunder Bay Police Service is continuing to investigate property damage that occurred last month and is seeking assistance with identifying the person responsible.

On January 28, a female suspect approached a residence on Algonquin Avenue and ripped down a flag and sign showing support for the 2SLGBTQIA+ community.

 

Anyone with information is asked to call police at (807) 684-1200. Tips can be submitted anonymously through Crime Stoppers at 1-800-222-8477, or online here.

City police are also reminding citizens that if anyone believes they or someone they know has been targeted as the victim of a hate-motivated crime, please come forward and contact the police.
