It’s another day of case numbers in Ontario being over 16 thousand.
The Public Health Unit estimates there are 16,714 confirmed cases Sunday as well as another 16 deaths.
There have been approximately 5,901 cases of the virus resolved.
Note that the province isn’t confirming cases anymore by PCR tests unless the individual is at severe risk for illness, showing symptoms already or they work in a high risk setting.
Official numbers won’t be confirmed until January 4th.
