Oh…those Bob Ross paintings!

I think it’s safe to say you’ve heard of the name: BOB ROSS.

Bob was the famous painter and art instructor, who created and hosted “The Joy Of Painting”. It debuted on PBS in 1983, and ran for 11 seasons.  Ross was well known for his peaceful attitude and use of phrases like, “let’s add some happy little trees” / “let’s add some happy little clouds”.

Even though he passed away 30 years ago, Bob’s paintings are in such high demand still to this day.  NOW, 3 works from Bob’s classic TV show, have raised over $750,000 for public television. Bob Ross Inc is looking at auctioning off more of his paintings to charity as well.

FUN FACT:  ROSS painted an estimated 30,000 paintings during his lifetime!
