In case you drive around the Cumberland Street Bridge, there’ s a traffic note for you.
Starting today, the outside lane of Cumberland Street North is now closed to accommodate pedestrians walking the loop around Boulevard Lake.
The city took this safety measure because of the increased traffic over the bridge during the current closure of the Boulevard Lake Dam walkway.
The lane closure will continue until the walkway is reopened in the fall of 2021.
