What a great surprise this morning!
Dr. Michel Beaulieu – President, Alumni Association of Lakehead University and Tom Warden – Director of Athletics, Lakehead University stopped by to Welcome The Bay to the community and talk about how much they’re loving our new station! THANK YOU!!!
Lakehead has so many things going on this month…. It’s homecoming! So many great ways for past and present Lakehead Students to connect and reconnect. Lakehead’s Alumni Association does an incredible job putting together some amazing programming for Homecoming – you can find all of the events and details here.
Also – big things happening in LU Athletics too. Tom talked about the exciting upcoming season of Thunderwolves Hockey which kicks off with a visit from Ron McLean from CBC. The first game is at 7:00pm on Sept 21 at the Gardens with Ron being at the game – and playing in a pick up game before. It’s sure to be a great night.
99-9 The Bay and Acadia Broadcasting are proud supporters of Lakehead University.
They are such a huge part of the community – Thanks again for the visit this morning!!!
