James Ward New Wasaya Boss

There is a new president and CEO at the First Nation-owned Wasaya Airways.

James Ward brings 15 years of experience with First Nation Communities and 10 years with Wasaya.

He indicates he is looking forward to growing the airline and working with the Wasaya ownership group to ensure future success for everyone.

“I am extremely grateful for this opportunity and to have the trust of the Wasaya Chiefs, EIC, and Board,” says James Ward. “I look forward to sharing my vision of the airline with the talented Wasaya team and the valued community members. Exciting times ahead,” says Ward.

The new Wasaya president succeeds the retired Tom Morris.

In between various stints on radio, television and writing, Jason is a dad, a partner and (some would consider) a zoo keeper (seriously, he has a LOT of pets).
