Don’t expect a section of James Street to be reopened anytime soon.
City spokesperson Matthew Miedema says they are grading and paving a section of the road from Frederica Street to Kingston Street.
Work started earlier this week, and is expected to be complete by the end of next week if there are no rain delays.
There are detours posted to allow for access to stores located on James Street.
