The Thunder Bay District Health Unit has declared all respiratory and gastrointestinal outbreaks in the district as over.
St Joseph’s Hospital and Pioneer Ridge had Covid-19 outbreaks declared over while Chartwell Retirement Residence saw an Enteric outbreak end.
The longest active outbreak in the region an unidentified respiratory outbreak at Hogarth Riverview Manor has also been declared over.
There are officially no outbreaks in the district for the first time since December.
An outbreak is declared at a facility when the residents have a higher-than-normal rate of respiratory or gastrointestinal symptoms.
