It was on this date (January 9, 2007)…APPLE CEO Steve Jobs officially announced THE IPHONE to the world!.

As of today, it has about 20% of the global smartphone market share. Since 2007, over 2.7 billion have been sold. Development of the iPhone started 20 years ago, with a team of over 1,000 who were tasked with building the ultimate smartphone! The rest is history!

FYI – Apple Incorporated had sales of over $380 billion last year! The company has a market value worth of $2.9 TRILLION. (no, that’s not a typo, LOL)
