SUMMARY:Motorcycles and Mothers Tea Social
DESCRIPTION:Where Chrome Meets Chamomile \nThe Road Angels are proudly extending this invitation to fellow Lady Riders who would like to be part of something truly meaningful.\n(Sorry guys — this one’s just for the ladies ) \nThis Mother’s Day\, we invite you to be part of a story that’s equal parts heartwarming and empowering — where meaningful connections come together in a beautiful tradition.\nNow in its 4th annual year\, the Road Angels — a devoted and spirited group of women motorcyclists and proud trailblazers of Thunder Bay — will once again deliver love on two wheels to some of the most deserving and often-overlooked women in our community: the senior mothers of Chartwell Isabella Retirement Residence. \nWhat the Road Angels recognized is something often hidden in plain sight — the quiet loneliness many mothers experience in senior living homes. Some have family far away\, and others have no visitors at all. What began as a simple act of kindness has grown into a powerful annual tradition\, bringing joy\, connection\, and unforgettable moments filled with smiles\, laughter\, and even a few happy tears. \nEvent Details\nDate: Sunday\, May 10th\nMeet-Up Location: Tim Hortons – 419 Edward Street\nTime: 1:15 PM \nLady Riders will gather for a short meet before riding together to the residence on Isabella Street East. Upon arrival\, we’ll take a few moments outside — giving the residents that exciting rush of energy and the unmistakable sound of motorcycles they’ve come to love. \nFrom there\, we’ll head indoors to join the residents for a special Tea Social\, graciously prepared by them for this year’s visit — a beautiful opportunity to sit\, connect\, and share stories together.\nWhile the Tea Social lasts only a few hours in the early afternoon\, its impact is felt all year long. \n~~Mandy Road Angels Thunder Bay

SUMMARY:St. Ignatius High School Presents: Frozen the Broadway Musical
DESCRIPTION:The St. Ignatius auditorium has been transformed into the magical kingdom of Arendelle to launch Frozen: The Broadway Musical! The powerful and heartfelt story surrounds two royal sisters\, Elsa and Anna. As children\, the sisters are inseparable\, until Elsa’s extraordinary ability to create ice and snow accidentally harms Anna. To protect both girls\, Elsa’s magic is kept secret\, and fear begins to drive the sisters apart. \nYears later\, following the tragic loss of their parents\, Elsa is crowned Queen of Arendelle. When the castle gates reopen for the coronation\, Anna eagerly welcomes the return of life and possibility\, especially when she meets the charming Prince Hans. However\, a heated moment between the sisters causes Elsa’s powers to be revealed\, plunging the kingdom into an eternal winter. Terrified\, Elsa flees into the mountains\, determined to live in isolation to protect those she loves. \nRefusing to give up on her sister\, Anna sets out on a dangerous journey to find Elsa. Along the way\, she teams up with rugged ice harvester Kristoff\, his loyal reindeer Sven\, and the lovable snowman Olaf. Together\, they brave the frozen wilderness in hopes of restoring summer and reuniting the royal family. \nAs Anna draws closer to Elsa\, she learns that fear\, not magic\, is the true danger. Meanwhile\, betrayal threatens Arendelle\, and Anna’s own life hangs in the balance. In the end\, it is an unexpected act of true love—not romance\, but sacrifice—that breaks the spell\, saves the sisters\, and restores warmth to the kingdom. \nWith love guiding her powers at last\, Elsa brings summer back to Arendelle\, Anna finds her own strength\, and the kingdom learns that love is the most powerful magic of all. \nShow dates begin Sunday\, April 26 at 2pm\, and continue Tuesday\, April 28-Saturday\, May 2 at 7pm. Tickets are $20 each and can be purchased at St. Ignatius High School- 285 Gibson St. Thunder Bay\, 807-344-8433 from Monday to Friday\, 8:30am-3:30pm.
