DIY Sun Catcher

What’s better then warm rays of sunshine peeking through your window? All of the above PLUS your favourite colours! The combo brings to life our latest shenanigan the DIY Sun Catcher. Be forewarned this project takes a little patience while we wait for the glue to dry (3-4 days).

What you will need:
Clear Glue
Coloured Glass Gems or Stones (beads or buttons could do t00)
Tupperware lids (that you do not plan on using again)
Popsicle Stick

Step 1

Gather your supplies and coat the bottom of your container lid with just enough glue to hold your gems/stones in place. Create your design using the popsicle stick to help get your gems/stones where you need them.

Step 2

Once you have your desired look squirt enough glue to solidify. Store in a safe place for 3 – 4 days to allow your creation to dry completely.

Step 3

Your DIY Sun Catcher should peel right out of your mold with ease. Use any gaps in the design to thread some rope or wire for hanging. It will be pretty heavy so secure it in place.
