Chippewa carousel horses to be inspected by RCMP

RCMP Musical Ride members will inspect the Chippewa Park carousel horses.

The park is home to a 108-year-old C.W. Parker Carousel. The carousel is one of three left in the world.

Newly restored carousel horses will get the seal of approval on Saturday, July 13, for the enjoyment of the public.

The public is invited to view this one-of-a-kind musical ride with an opportunity for photos. Children in attendance will be invited to ride the carousel.

The RCMP Musical Ride will be guests of the Oliver Agricultural Society and performing at the Murillo Fair Grounds on Saturday July 13, and Sunday July 14, starting with the pre-show at 1 p.m. each day.

Sunday, July 14 is the rain date for the RCMP visit to the Carousel.
