Applications Open For Fast-Track PSW Training

The doors are open for prospective Personal Support Workers to enter a fast-track training program.

The province is accepting applications for the tuition-free program to prepare students for high-demand jobs in the health and long-term care sectors.

It aims to train Personal Support Workers in six months instead of the usual eight.

The Ford government says it’s part of a $115-million dollar recruitment drive to cover tuition for 6,000 of those students.
