Acadia Broadcasting which owns 99.9 The Bay, Country 105, Roundtable and yourthunderbay.ca has some new but familiar faces as of June.
Scott Pettigrew was the Station Manager from 2016 to 2021, before moving to Halifax when the company acquired two stations in Nova Scotia. Pettigrew is back as the Ontario Regional Manager overseeing the Thunder Bay operation as well as working with the company’s four stations in Dryden, Kenora and Fort Frances.
Dave McCulloch has joined the Thunder Bay team as General Sales Manager. McCulloch is a life long resident of Thunder Bay with an impressive sales management resume. He has been active in the hockey community for many years.
And finally Eddie Forte has been lured out of retirement to join the Acadia sales team. Forte has over 30 years of experience working with businesses in Thunder Bay on how to reach their marketing goals. Pettigrew says being able to add a veteran like Forte was like a hockey team adding a Sidney Crosby to their lineup.
Former Station Manager John Ongaro remains with Acadia Broadcasting taking on a new leadership role focusing company wide on programming initiatives.
