City police say a 21 year old man was sprayed with what he believes is bear spray.
The assault took place early this morning on Brodie Street and Victoria Avenue.
Police say the suspect told them he was driving slowly in the area when someone approached him and sprayed something into his car.
The man later drove to Simpson Street and called 911 for assistance and was treated by paramedics.
Police are looking to speak to any witnesses to this incident who can identify the suspect responsible for spraying the victim.
