Former police chief court appearance pushed over health issues

The former Thunder Bay police chief Sylvie Hauth has had her next court appearance pushed due to health issues.

Hauth’s lawyer appeared in court yesterday morning to update the judge on the status.

The 59-year-old faces charges for obstruction of justice and breach of justice, among others.

She has not yet entered a plea, and no trial date is set.

Hauth is now set to appear in court again Nov. 17.
