It is with great sadness that the family of Lorene Ellen Vance (Dieter) announce her passing. Lorene passed away peacefully at Hogarth Riverview Manor on September 6, 2026, with her family by her side.

Lorene was born in Port Arthur, Ontario on September 10, 1947, to Irene and Earl Dieter. Lorene spent over 20 years as a respected dog breeder, a passion that brought her great joy throughout her life with her husband Dennis.

Lorene is survived by her daughters, Michelle and Laurie; her grandchildren, Ryan, Joshua, Kurtis (Shawnith), Matthew, Adam, Lexy (Jacob), and Aiden; and her great granddaughter, Kinsley.

Lorene is predeceased by her husband, Dennis; her siblings, Robert, Beverley, Earldene, and Gayle; and her daughter Suzanne.

The family wishes to express their deepest gratitude to her caretakers on 4 South Lilac, and the caretakers on 3B at the TBRHSC.

There will be a celebration of life for immediate family members only.
