October 31^st, 1943 – June 27^th, 2026

Mr. Michael Sprague passed away with his devoted wife by his side at Hogarth Riverview Manor on Saturday, June 27, 2026. He was born in Chapleau, ON, to Albert and Jean (nee Wisson) Sprague. Michael worked at the MTO for 30 years, until his retirement 15 years ago. He enjoyed golf, bowling, gardening, music and wine in the yard with his wife, Lucille. Michael is survived by his wife Lucille Sprague. children Therese Barlow, Chris and Cathy Sprague (their mother Karen). Grandchildren Jesse Gagnon, Adam Barlow, Dylan, Marley and Oliver Brayshaw, great-grandchild Charlie Gagnon, and brothers Wesley and David. He will be lovingly remembered by many cousins, nieces, nephews and friends, with a special mention to the Ball family. Predeceased by his mother Jean and father Albert, sisters Jackie and Ginny, and brother Peter. A small family service will be held at a later date.
