Police arrest four people after search uncovers $17K in drugs

Four people face drug charges after an investigation led by Thunder Bay Police on Thursday.

Thunder Bay officers along with members of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) executed a search warrant around 5 p.m. at a residence on Shuniah Street.

During their search, officers say they found more than $17,000 worth of suspected cocaine along with cash and paraphernalia consistent with drug trafficking.

Two men and a woman from Thunder Bay along with a woman from Toronto were arrested on charges of drug trafficking.

They have appeared in court and two of them have been remanded into custody, while the others have been released.

All four accused will appear in court at a later date.
